 The mission of Buffalo County DHHS is to empower individuals, families and communities to live well by preventing disease, protecting health and assuring safety, while encouraging independence.

Buffalo County Department of Health and Human Servicesis requesting proposals from qualified mental health professionals to provide in home familycounseling and school-based trauma resiliency skills to young victims ofalcohol and drug crimes. Buffalo County Department of Health and Human Serviceswas awarded a three year grant by the U.S Department of Justice to providethese and mentoring services to children in Buffalo County experiencing thisform of trauma.
